Just returned from a trip to Tassie, and brought home a 70cm/2m antenna made for REAST by Dale VK7DK.
What a beauty ! SWR of less than 1.5:1 across both bands. Its made of solid aluminium rather than tube, so is very strong.
Only trouble is, its a bit too long to post, so may be best if you know someone who is going over to get one for you.
By the way I went to the clubhouse at the Domain on wednesday, and was made to feel very welcome. Had a great time and heard some interesting stories abouut the BPL trial and other things. A big thanks to REAST fo making me welcome - and for letting me buy one of their wonderfull antennas.
