New node in Brisbane

There is a new node in Brisbane - number 6556.  I finally got it running this morn after  some delays with the radio and interfacing.   It runs simplex on 147.450Mhz on about 50W.  It shares an antenna with another radio at the moment ( so it may be offline for short periods when I'm using the other one ), but in the next week or so I'll get its own one up. It seems to be operating properly,  has no bells-and-whistles - just the pre-recorded ident/welcome message, and disconnect message.

I would like it to be used for SSTV, as there are not a lot of nodes dedicated to that as far as I can tell. However, voice calls are of course very welcome.

I welcome any reports on its operation and would love to hear from anyone interested in ATV over IRLP, so that we can give it a shot.

The antenna that will go up for the node will be non-directional, either a vertical or a J-Pole.

Look foreward to hearing you on it, and seeing your pics!!
